What a combination!

I match my drink to my books and vice versa for the sheer immersiveness they provide.

What to dilute that slightly buzzed sensation? Never!

For a second I thought that Bud was Coke… XD looks like a good time!
15/12/2016 at 16:42
The sugar rush may have inspired some thoughts but cheap beer is always better. I do fancy a coke now.

Hope you have this time to yourself, doing exactly what you love, with 2 of your best companions. 😃
15/12/2016 at 17:22
It is good to get knee deep into something important again. Although I did watch an episode of The A-Team earlier for old time’s sake.
14/12/2016 at 17:53
Perfect combination! It’s funny that you’re drinking Budweiser though while over here it’s considered more civilized to drink the London beers. 🙂
15/12/2016 at 16:57
Budweiser is cheap at the local shop, that’s my only reason for choosing it really. Normally I’d prefer one of the many ales that have surfaced in the last few years, something with depth to the taste. I can’t be picky at the moment though and it did the job haha.

I hope the combination caused lots of philosophizing (and if that’s not a word then it should be)!
21/12/2016 at 16:05
It certainly is and certainly did. I love the evolution of thought although I am sure some of the theologians would take issue with that term haha!
14/12/2016 at 18:39
lol, this is great, Ste J 😀 I hope you enjoyed your night.

Of course, it was the perfect night!

Nights in are always blast by myself haha!

A grand night in!
21/12/2016 at 16:15
Hopefully many more to follow, but perhaps with a hot chocolate instead.

Wow Ste J, can’t read and drink. How do you manage that?
I’m not sure how I do it, I think taking copious notes for a review usually helps recall.
22/12/2016 at 22:00
Well. that must surely help.
20/12/2016 at 13:58
And why not.
21/12/2016 at 15:23
Haha…and what a great way to philosophise! I hope you will have plenty of fine nights over the next week or so, whether at home or out and about. Happy Christmas my friend, cheers to you and to the next time…!
21/12/2016 at 16:24
I am aiming for a few fun nights over Christmas, mainly with the family but it is good to catch up and watch the classic Christmas films that we all know the dialogue to. Have a wonderful Christmas if I don’t see you before my friend and I shall raise a glass or jug to you!
22/12/2016 at 11:18
Oh yes, those classic Christmas films. My favourite always was and still is The Great Escape, mostly because of Steve McQueen ha! Ahh…raising a jug sounds pretty darn good…especially as I’ve just noticed my Christmas tree lights have gone out! Have a wonderful time with your family my friend, and again, a very Happy Christmas to you!
22/12/2016 at 16:58
I am partial to a bit of Tron. I love that film, still brilliant today as well and the Disney cartoon films they always put on in the morning Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood and The Sword in the Stone. I hope you find the one right bulb to replace that will fix it…what a nightmare! Then you cn really start enjoying your Christmas!
01/01/2017 at 22:34
I love that you love those films…they’re great! I hope you had a great Christmas my friend…we did, once we got a replacement set of lights, thanks to Homebase, half off and hastily wrapped around the tree with nobody the wiser, ha! It’s all gone so fast though…need to regroup I think. Meanwhile, I wish you a Happy New Year and send you lots of good cheer for a productive, fulfilling and creative 2017 🙂
02/01/2017 at 14:32
And the same to you my friend, I am looking forward to being better in many ways from health wise to reading and blogging more regularly. Nice Christmas save with the lights, were you in a movie you would have been hunting for ages with lots of high jinks and shenanigans foiling you before the happy conclusion.
03/01/2017 at 16:36
Haha…Christmas certainly does bring its fair share of high jinks and shenanigans! I’m with you, getting better at lots of things, I hope. Here’s to it all my friend…!
23/12/2016 at 23:53
I think a darker beer would have done the trick. 😉
24/12/2016 at 20:26
True but my poor wallet demanded only a small sacrifice this time but I will begin experimenting with beer and books, that’s a treat right there hehe.
