A Brief Intermission

coniferous-forest-at-night-rainToday is a Monday and so by default a really depressing day.  Compounded as this is with my own thoughts…I have decided to have a week off from blogging.

Partly this is to recharge the old batteries and partly because I just feel like I’m existing at the moment, rather than actually doing much living.

I will write some stuff down, making notes is always good but having spent more time on the computer than doing anything else isn’t really that good for me.

This does count closer to post 200 so that is always good, as you will then get to see me witter on about something I like and get to see the accompanying bearded face that is always in the mirror when I peer into it.

Anyway digressions aside, you probably won’t see me for the whole week but I will come back and like Bruce Willis do it with a vengeance and if that means I have to team up with Samuel L Jackson to do it, then so be it…in fact I could spend this whole week writing the script. anyway for a bit it seems I shall be silent but I will come find you when I return like a Jedi with some little furry Ewoks and perhaps I could also write that script….etc, etc ad infinitum.

I shall return next Monday….

  1. Have a listen to this – it makes you float away into another world and must be good for inspiration, I just finished reading Caroline Smailes The Drowning of Arthur Bracton and this song makes me feel like I am Arthur Braxton going down into Delphine’s world, I hope you find the book, I think you might like it too, It may just be my top read this year . A good day to share the book and the song. Monday can end on a good note.

Listen here to Atlas and allow yourself to be transported. Bon nuit. 🙂

  2. I shall return in a week then. 😉
Recharging the batteries is always a good idea; especially when you realize that you’ve spent more time in front of the computer during the day than Bill Gates. I’ll bet you’ll return fresh and with more blog posts than ever.

Anywho – take it easy this week as you recharge. “See” you when you return 🙂

  7. Why do we have this perception that mondays have to be gloomy days? I always try to change that thought in my head and actually make mondays something to look forward to.

    1. Today I have spent it in bed watching breaking Bad and old Doctor Who from the 80’s so I have really enjoyed this Monday. Perhaps I could get used to them…if I could stay in bed every Monday.
